this trip was a work + fun trip....so pada sesiapa yang minat nak p Yogya boleh la terinspirasi k...

some wiki on Yogyakarta...

Yogyakarta (English: /ˌjɒɡjəˈkɑrtə/ or /ˌjoʊɡjəˈkɑrtə/,[1] Malay: [jɔɡjaˈkarta]; also Jogja, Jogjakarta) is a city and the capital of Yogyakarta Special Region in Java, Indonesia. It is renowned as a centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows. Yogyakarta was the Indonesian capital during the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949. One of the districts in Yogyakarta, Kotagede, was the capital of Mataram Sultanate between 1575 and 1640. The city is named after the Indian city of Ayodhya from the Ramayana epic. Yogya means 'suitable, fit, proper', and karta, 'prosperous, flourishing' (i.e., 'a city that is fit to prosper').[2]

itu wiki version...

YOGYAKARTA (often also called Jogja, Yogya, Jogja or Jogjakarta) is located in middle of Java Island - Indonesia, where everything is cheap. It's enough with $ 20 per-day, you are able to stay over, eat famous authentic delicious food, and rent motorbike to explore the pure beaches and thousand of years old ancient temples.

ok this is where Yogya is dalam Pulau Jawa, Indonesia

these are the tourist attractions yang boleh di visit :)

this 1st trip we choose Whiz Hotel, cheap, 5minutes walk to Jalan Malioboro (the famous road in Yogya) - my personal review, bersih, selesa tapi pilihan breakfast are just local food, so untuk people yang tak berani or tak suka nak cuba local food mungkin tak sesuai, local food yang di serve are nasi gudeg dll, coffee and tea memang ada macam biasa la. But if you are expecting ada macam roti, cereal and light food memang tak de.
right oppoeite of the hotel ada jual Bakpia (sedap) buleh beli bawa balik as ole2

misi kerja is to find entique lamps dan lain2...ni some of it yang kami jumpa...tak beli sebab kami order yang customade...

kereta kuda memang banyak kat and most people, local people guna this kereta kuda untuk commute from 1 place to another

the famous Malioboro Road...u can find anything under the sun kat jalan ni...

you will see lots of these in Yogya...it's also know as Kota Seni

setelah penat ikut mommyshopping, oklah kita balik ke hotel naik becha...penat tapi fun

on a normal day, this is how Malioboro looks like

sambung cerita kita...jalan-jalan ke Kraton
Kraton or Keraton is the Javanese word for a royal palace. Its name is derived from ka-ratu-an which means the residence of ratu. Ratu is the traditional honorific title to refer the "ruler" (king or queen). In Java, the palace of a prince is called puro or dalem. The general word to designate a palace is istana, as in Indonesian and Malay.

Malam-malam boleh jalan-jalan, and fun way to spend the evening especially kalau bawa anak2/budak-budak kecik...

Kereta @ Basikal berlampu di Alun-Alun Selatan

di pilih dipilih dipilihhhh...pening semua rasa nak beli...kalau nak beli pun xsusah they will wrap nicely and if dah banyak sangat some shops ada uruskan penghantaran balik/ courier service :)

ni pun salah satu benda yang kita beli, selain dr yang lain2..ni cuma Rp15,000 hokayyyy

shopping batik....patern2 baju2 kat sini walaupun guna kain batik tapi sangat modern, so we bought Bolero Batik :)

oleh kerana, musim hujan masa kita pi ni, waktu sampai di Borobudur tu hujan, so tak leh masuk, atas sebab2 keselamatan....no next day kita pun p satu lagi tempat, Chandi Prambanan...

Candi Prambanan or Candi Rara Jonggrang is a 9th-century Hindu temple compound in Central Java, Indonesia, dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva). The temple compound is located approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of the city of Yogyakarta on the boundary between Central Java and Yogyakarta provinces.[1]

The temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is one of the largest Hindu temples in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu temple architecture, and by the towering 47-metre-high (154 ft) central building inside a large complex of individual temples.[2] One of the most majestic temples in Southeast Asia, Prambanan attracts many visitors from across the world.[3]

so untuk trip ni, ini saja lah yang kami visit...kat Malioboro tu memang banyak gila benda to see, buy dan lain-lain....so tunggu la, entry seterusnya untuk trip yang kedua ok....my personal view, walaupun kota ni sangat simple and calm tapi dia ada something yang kalau dah sampai sini, rasa mcm nak datang lagi...nak datang lagi....it's something yang susah nak di explain...sampaikan i've manage to write an artikle specifically for Yogya...
for REZEKI Magazine
merenung masa depan yer sayang??? nanti kita jalan2 lagi ok...

so tunggu lah next entry k....
